In Israel, War is Always on the Horizon: Demand for Shelters Continues to Grow
Over 56,000 projectiles have been fired towards Israel since 2001.*
Most border communities have 0–30 SECONDS to reach shelter.
Many schools, playgrounds, senior centers, etc. have no access to shelter.
Israel's State Comptroller has recently reported:
- 3.2 million Israelis (a third of Israeli citizens) DO NOT have access to bomb shelters
- 11.7% of public shelters are unusable
- The government is not stepping up to help
- Institutions are required by law to have shelters, but they are not given shelters

Lifeshield shelters are constructed in Israel by leading manufacturers of steel-reinforced concrete products, and deployed quickly. We are continuously overwhelmed with requests from municipalities asking for shelters, with preparation against enemy attack an ongoing measure. The 1000+ Lifeshield shelters currently deployed have been donated by caring individuals and organizations from around the world, including Jewish and Christian groups.
